No. Hit Drag & Drop (bottom right in the plugin) and pull the finished swell straight onto a track as a WAV — swell plus the captured word, trimmed and ready. Classic bounce/export works too: just start your selection early enough to include the full tail (the footer shows its length, e.g. "tail 4.8 s").
Swell + Word (default) keeps your original captured sound playing after the swell. Swell Only strips it, leaving just the reverse tail — useful when you want to layer the swell separately from the dry hit.
Turn off BOTH "Auto-Warp Short Samples" and "Auto-Warp Long Samples" in Preferences → Record, Warp & Launch — once, globally. Otherwise Live warps the dropped file and it drifts off the grid.
No. Once captured, the swell replays automatically every time playback reaches that spot. Re-capture only for a different word or hit, or after changing Body/Start enough to select different audio.
Yes — switch the ms/Beat toggle next to Length and pick a note value (1/1 to 1/32). The swell length locks to your host tempo.
